If you like cheerios now it's up to you to choose what you prefer! No-GMO (yellow package) or with GMO. This goes even further than GMO labeling by law that sooner or later will happen in the entire USA. Thanks Non-GMO Project and many other organizations fighting for the #righttoknow and #nonGMO @cristianobonino
BREAKING NEWS: @[162006779825:274:Cheerios] yellow box goes non-GMO, thanks to you @[478981558808326:274:GMO Inside]rs! 40,000 Facebook comments tipped the scale! On a discrete page on the Cheerios website today they've announced that they no longer use GMO ingredients in original yellow box Cheerios. "It’s the unique and simple nature of original Cheerios that made this possible – and even that required significant investment over nearly a year." Cheerios states they were "able to change how we source and handle ingredients to ensure that the corn starch for original Cheerios comes only from non-GMO corn, and our sugar is only non-GMO pure cane sugar." There is more to be done but @[112649325414107:274:General Mills] met our first demand by going non-GMO with Cheerios yellow box.
